Unlike the Russian type kerosene lamp powered radio my previous project , this is most compacted and efficient one.. this one could use inside home .. and it does need a separate powering source ..
all thermocouples and players parts are with in the vintage bakelite Philips radio box.. this is a unique design and logic compare with Russian technology.. odo less and heat/wind proof , easy to carry and use. this particular thermocouple produce enough power to drive a mini Cassette player also.. this is the only one in the world as of date.. I named this project as( SLRC) “Spirit Lamp Powered Radio and Cassette player”..

My new project..The first reproduction clock of kerala's historic Methan mani on padmanabha swami temple (karuvelapura)..

About..
The "Methan Mani" is located near the Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. To see it, one has to stand before the temple entrance and look in the opposite direction of the Padmatheertha pond. It is on the top of the Old Fort Palace. The unique feature of the clock is the presence of a bearded man on top of the dial who opens his mouth corresponding to every hour when two rams hit his cheek and forcing him to close his mouth. This action is coordinated with the hourly chimes.

It chimes on each quarter hour with different tones and length..and i assume it may have an 1930's movement. i recently restored the broken rods which chimes, and polished the wooden body, now its back in action, and i know one of the chime is not tuned well but i liked this very much, useful information and Comments about this clock are most welcome!

I made a copy of "1950's Russian Kerosene Powered Radio" with kerosene lamp generator and a radio, this is the only custom made receiver and generator works in the same logic like old days..

Because of no electricity, the remote areas of Siberia and china were used these type of radios receivers.. it works 6-9 hours according to volume of kerosene in burner..

I some how managed to maintain the design and functionality, and very much proud to make this..hope you all enjoy this..

Handmade coconut shell Bluetooth player, works directly on AC 230V..

The roadster i got had leakage in the boiler, so cant able to maintain the pressure to run, so i decided to restore this, removed all rivets and updated with steel nuts and bolts, leakage has been fixed, painted like the original look..and its live again!! love to see this old guy running after many years..
